Tutoring in stone carving can be either in groups or one on one. Groups are a maximum of six and are normally held over the winter months.

You will learn how to deal with three dimensional space and what tools to use, and will have a completed sculpture for your own garden.

Weekend workshops are available, and evening lessons can also be arranged.

A choice of medium is available in Oamaru Limestone or Aerated Concrete. The latter is a lighter medium and is easier to carve; some clients prefer this medium to begin with, as it is more affordable and they get a quicker result.
